:) :) Hello! I am Sally, husband Dermot & two boys, Sean(13) & Kieran(8) We are just starting out on the process, awaiting skills assessment from ANMC and going for PR. Dermot works in retail management & we would be glad to hear from anyone who can shed light on job situation for him. Also, if anyone has experience of community nursingin Oz, I'd love to hear from you.

Hi Sally and family,

Good luck with the process. It took us about 7 months start to finish, we then waited for 6 months to: let the news sink in; let my daughter finish primary school and have one last xmas with family - have to say it was the best one we've ever had.

Can't really answer your qestions, but just wanted to say Hi.

I will however ask Gillian to respons about community nursing, I think that was what she did for a while in the UK before she gave up nursng and we came over.

You'll find it a bit of a rollercoaster ride I'm afraid - lots of highs and lows but well worth it in the end.
