Hi, I've been around the British Expats forum for the last 14 months, but dared to argue with a moderator last month so was banned - the shame!!

Back on there under a different name, but thought I'd also join this forum as Perth is where I've lived and worked before, and is where we're heading - if I can sell my bloody house.

Anyway, applied for 136 MODL in August 2005, finally got it in April - wife is a Hairdresser - whoopee!!

Look forward to joining you all in heated debate.

Bye for now.

Lewis

Hi Lewis,

Welcome - a friendly bunch on here. Tell your wife - I'll be looking for a hairdresser when we move to Perth in January!! Hoping the prices are a bit cheaper than here in the UK

No worries. Good time to be coming out leaving a miserable English January for the middle of a Perth summer!!

I'm praying the prices drop as well mate. Maybe we should start some malicious rumours about earth fault lines or something.

Keeping our options open really. Wherever we can find a cracking primary school in a good catchment area.
