Hi, we have recently received our visa's and are planning to travel out to Perth on 4th August.

I am a bricklayer and hoping to settle around the suburb Rockingham, what is the best way to get contacts for work?

Can anyone recommend a good estate agent for a furnished property for our first couple of weeks?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Regards,

G'day & welcome

Most Real Estate agents don't do short term rentals so they'll not be of much use to you with short term furnished rentals. You'll be better off googling for holiday appartments.

Work for brickies is VERY easy come by, just get here and you'll get a job whenever you want one in the area you want.

we managed to get a short term furnished rental via www.movetoperth.com We'd emailed real estate agents but as bob said they weren't really that helpful.
