your help needed please

I am going to college as a chef to get my NVQ2 and 3 and will have worked 12+ months as a chef will this be enough to allow me to work and live in perth as a chef? and is there an easier option its just me 35 and my 13 year old daughter please help guys. many thanks lyn:)
