Hi Richard
My husband and I are getting to Perth in January 2008 as my sponsorship deadline is up then. We are heading for Mandurah with my job being in Murdoch St John of God hospital I am a midwife. We are both so keen to enjoy the lifestyle. Did you find it 'strange ' not to go home after a few weeks like you do when you are on holiday? We were there in May this year and did not want to go home. Leaving out kids of 22, 26 & 28 will be bind but we have a life too. At 47 I plan a few more years on this planet and just want to spend it where I do not want hear about stabbings and shootings every day. Not too realistic is it? And that is the reality in the UK today.:)

Madscrapper??? I'm getting confused LOL (Not difficult) what are your real names???? Your family will have great holidays visiting you both, What do they think of the idea. My children anre 10 and 2 and were doing this for them. I know australia isn't crime free but it's getting frightening. We only get 1 shot at life and everytime i get scared thats what i keep telling myself.
Good luck to everyone x x

G'day
That's quite a commute !! Have you thought of living nearer?
Cockburn? Beeliar? Atwell? Coogee? Willetton? Leeming? Murdoch? or even Bull Creek?
Cheers

Hi Bev
Our names are Mark And Jill. Yeh I do understand what you mean. Today another three males have been found dead. Nothing is shocker anymore. The only worries are that they were supposedly innocent. For our sakes we need to get out and hopefully our kids will follow. I can only pray that they do. Hopefully my grandchildren will grow up over there. Thanks for asking, Jill:cool:
