Hi all poms
A young essex family thinking of moving from the 'rat race' to a better place. I am a senior chemo nurse and my husband works for 'ford' motor company as a senior refrigeration engerneer. We have two young girls aged 3 & 1yrs.
We both currently have to work to live! I work 3 long days 7am-6pm. My husband works 6days a week, 12hour shifts. THERE HAS TO BE MORE TO LIFE?
Anyone got any help/advice/worries/comments please please e-mail me. (michellesalmon@yahoo.co.uk):p
We are looking at moving to perth, in about 1-2years. we are looking at doing the land and build thing. My husband is worried that he want find work, even though he has a degree in electronics and communications, and he has 10years experience in refrigeration (air conditioning).

Look forward to hearing from you
Michelle

Hi Michelle,

I'm also a nurse (Mental Health). Both hubby and I work full time, but the quality of the time we spend at home is excellent - we both feel more relaxed here. We moved here in January and settled in quickly, my children are older at 12 and 8 and also settled quickly. We feel very content with our life here

Not sure 'cos it's not something I look for, but look on seek.com.au as alot of jobs are advertised. Also, yellow pages is online so you could approach companies directly. Also the west australian on a saturday has a job section, don't know if that bit is available online but it would be worth having a look.
