Yay! After all the problems with hubby's blood pressure (white coat syndrome) our medicals were finally sent off to Sydney today :D

Police checks also arrived today and I've emailed them over to our agent.

We now await the final verdict .....

Thanks Ali,

Willetton is still on the shortlist, yep. Also will be looking at Bull Creek, Rossmoyne and surrounding areas. Not possible to decide for sure from the other side of the world!!

Hi,

BP, urine specimen, weight, height, touch toes, bloods, very brief breast exam for ladies (although not all Dr.s do this). X-rays prior to medical

Our children were 11 and 6 at the time, only the 11 year old needed an x-ray no bloods for the children at that age.

If you have seen a specialist or disclosed anything on the form then get letters from your GP or consultant re: prognosis, treatment etc.,

e.g. I knew that my urine test would show blood, it always does - this has ben investgated by a urologist and is unexplained and causes no problems.

My son had undergone some renal investigations (all normally thankfully) and I just took letters from the consultant which were forwarded with the medicals. We all passed without problem.

Yup,

I had White coat syndrome the other day. After the first reading I suggested the GP do up the top button of her blouse then wait a while.

It did nothing to lower my BP but it was worth it to see how embarassed and flustered she got.
