Hi,Another new hopeful migrant!

Hi My name is Nick and with my wife Sue and twins Matthew and Joseph, are hoping to emigrate to the Perth area late next year.We have only just submitted the first set of forms to our agent so we are in for a long wait!
Sue is a Nursing Sister and I am a Heavy Plant operator/Lorry driver.We have decided to emigrate to try and give the boys a better lifestyle than they have here in the U.K. We have done tons of research but any info on schools,jobs etc would be much appreciated.At present we live in a little village about 15 miles from Dover with two dogs who are going to cost us the earth to migrate with us.
Well thats us,I know we are not Poms in Perth yet and won't be for quite a while but it would be great to hear any advice that anyone can offer. All the best,Nick

Hi Nick and Sue and welcome to Perth poms. I was a G grade (band 7) in mental health, I went back on the wards here for 6 months at a lower grade, and moved back into the community 8 weeks ago. Can only speak about jobs for Sue really ('cos I'm in the same field), and she won't have a problem getting something. I googled hospitals in WA and found contact details and emailed them directly with my CV and got offerred a job before I arrived.
