moving to perth in to weeks

HI I am very new to forums we are moving to perth in two weeks.
my husband and i have been in Sydney for the past 8 year and have had
enough of the high costs so we are doing the sea change. we have two girls
a 7 year old and 3 months old. if anyone has any advise about good schools or nice area or bad areas or any advise about perth please let me know as im am starting to get cold feet:o

Hi, the two Bobs (bobcat and bullcreek bob) will have information about areas, we've only been here since January and I haven't really explored areas at all. the two Bobs have lived here years and would give you lots of advise depending on what your looking for. I'm in Leeming which is an older area, lots of facilites and good schools in this and surrounding suburbs. We're about 15 min drive to the city and 20 mins to Freo.

We have heard that Ellenbrook is a really nice area for a family and has good schools. Will know more once we arrive.... which is about 2 weeks also. good luck
