Uk Student coming to Freo to study

Hi there! I'm 22, from 'lovely' Leicestershire coming to Fremantle for 2 years to study for a Diploma. Currently looking for Student accommodation in Fremantle so if anyone has any ideas please let me know - it's bit difficult not being out there knowing who to contact! I have family near Perth but I wish to live in Fremantle whilst I study..... Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Does the place your studying at know of any student accommodation or shared accommodation?

Hi Ali, have checked with the college but they say they don't have a list of recommended accomodation or anything similiar. I've since logged onto a local University in Fremantle's website, and they have a page dedicated for people to advertise spare rooms and for those who need somewhere to stay, to make themselves known! So I am currently exploring that route.... I think it may be a little early to find a place for late January but I'm coming over to Perth at the end of Dec so if I've still not figured any thing by then i'll have left enough time for myself to find somewhere by actually being in Fremantle which I think might be a better idea?

I don't think it's too early to start looking Steph, xmas isn't very far away at all. Are you going to studay at notre dame?

No I'm going to TAFE's Challenger Campus in Freo, I've been looking on the Notre Dame accommodation webpage though which has proved really helpful.

Im Andrew, from Lincolnshire and Im in the process of getting my visa sorted to come out and work at Fremantle hospital, hopefully early next year. Im looking for accommodation too! If you get any good info I would be really greatful if you could pass it on!
