Hi there, can any one recommend a good reliable reasonabley priced shipping company to ship our furniture from the UK to Perth as we keep being let down by the ones in the phone book.
Regards.
Vanessa & Harvey.

Hi Vanessa & Harvey
We will be using White & Company who are holding their quote for us up until Feb if we need to wait that long (hopefully not!) We got them and PSS round for quotes but personally preferred White. www.whiteandcompany.co.uk (http://www.whiteandcompany.co.uk)
Good luck!

We used John Masons and they were great. Crown also have a good reputation.

Hi

New to the forum.

We leave for Perth in Feb-but are moving out of our house next Fiday.

It's funny-we are going with PSS who will attending next week to clear and pack the house.

I also found that they were very reasonable for storage fees once in Australia-Apparantely our container will arrive mid Jan and will need to be stored for up to 10 weeks.
:D :D

Hi,

John Mason's came to see us and so far have been great, said they didn't mind what the amount was and if it changed they would just do a revised price.

Read other sites and you need to make sure any one who quotes is a member of BAR Overseas (bit like ABTA)

Good luck

With regards to PSS. We booked a possible date with them which they were happy to pencil in for us, have changed it already to the following week (the week after next that is...can't wait). Very helpful.

Hiya we are deciding if its worth taking all our household belongings with us to oz any idea what sort of price it would be for an average 3 bed semi??? It would cost around £8000 to replace everything so ive been told.

Hi Carla, the best price we got for shipping our 3 bed to Perth WA was £3500 plus the insurance. There are plenty of Shipping Angents in the Yellow Pages, the best thing to do is give some of them a call and ask for an estimate.
Hope this helped.
Regards.
