Hi all. We moved to Perth in September and are currently living in Hillarys. We are in our mid/late 30s and have a 17 month old son. We have a couple of friends but really need to widen our social circle. Are there any get togethers soon?

Hi Jo thanks for the message. That would be great to meet up. When do the schools go back? Jane

p.s. not sure how I can send you my phone number without it being posted on here. Any ideas?

Hi thanks for the message. Hillarys is a lovely area - great little beach are for kids. Quite expensive for rent. Can't say that I have really settled here yet, think it will be better when we are living in our home. Weather has been extremely hot over xmas (40+). Husband is an electrician but is working as a bricklayer currently - long process for certain trades when they get here - so won't bore you with that saga! Won't lie to you it has been hard over the last 3 months - it has felt very isolating at times - however it is obviously still very early days for us and you need to give yourself time. How is your application progressing? Jane

Hi to you all

We're in the same boat!! We're moving to Perth on 7th Feb 08. I have a 1 year old boy and would love to meet up as my husband starts work at RPH soon after we arrive.

We're all really excited about the move but the nerves are kicking in a bit now as we only have 3 weeks to go!
