Hello everyone.
This time next year we should be over there in sunny Perth.
I'm Neil (36), my wife is called Sari (37) and our daughter, Olivia (11).
We are currently waiting for our visas to be processed. We sent our Skilled Independent Worker Visa and docs etc. back in Sep 07 and, despite several late night phone calls, are still waiting to be appointed a case officer!
Does anyone know how long it's going to take?!! The Adelaide processing centre don't appear too certain.
We are hoping to arrive late Oct / early Nov 08 in the hope that I may commence employment as a secondary school teacher in January09, and our daughter may start at the same time (but as a pupil, not a teacher!).
I would appreciate the benefit of anyone's experience - Is our time scale realistic?
