Football Players wanted

Ballajura AFC is looking for experienced soccer players for a number of positions for the 2008 season.

Playing in the Football West Amateur div 2 the club has a strong squad of young players aged 18 - 25 and is looking to add some experience to move forward`from last years very encouraging season which saw the club perform extremely well in Div 2.

In particular, Senior Coach Bill Byrne is looking for an experienced Central Defender and a Goalkeeper.

what level of footy is this! i play sunday pub league in the uk, and 5 a side toa decent standard! im over ther soon

We play in the WA State amateur league Division 2. In reality all of the teams are in the Perth metropolitan area.

The standard is quite reasonable and there are many players around in the amateur leagues who have played semi pro either here or overseas.

We train twice a week (tues/thurs) for two hours per night and we have a 1st team and reserve team who play together against an other clubs first and reserve teams so we are always together home or away.

Where do you propose to be living when you come to Perth?

We are about 15 mins by car (sometimes 20) from the city centre and very easy to get to. I have guys in the squad who come from further away.
