Hi everyone

Several years ago I seriously looked at the possibility of migrating to Perth. This was dampened somewhat by my wife who felt that it would be too risky without securing a job first. I work in IT and the demand for IT professionals was falling off at the time (not sure of the current state of affairs).

In the last twelve months the company that I work for has recently been bought out by a large US global with offices located in Oz (inc. Perth). The company encourages job swapping and I can't help but think that this is a perfect opportunity to experience Perth (and my wife can't complain either :)

Before considering any of this I want to take a three week recce across there and I would like to ask if anyone can recommend a travel/holiday agent. I have tried a couple of popular online agents and it is a bit worrying when some of their webpages 'cannot be displayed'...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Iain.

Hello & welcome to the forum:D

I can't help with your travel agent query but I'm sure someone else here will have a few ideas for you.

God luck with the trip and any future emigration plans.

Kind regards
Karen

You have the internet, so use it!

Just go to somewhere like www.cheapflights.co.uk (http://www.cheapflights.co.uk) and enter your dates of travel and how many people travelling. Go through the different web pages and find the cheapest, or the times of flights you prefer.

If you are looking for a hotel to stay in, then I suggest you take a look at http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ and do a search on Perth. This will give you a lest of the best hotels, rated by the people who have stayed there.
