Hi i am new to the forum.

can you please help with a couple of questions.

I have spoke to many people and not really got anywhere,

1. I have been with my australian partner for a year and a half. i am wanting to move back to perth with her in june. We havent been living together full time only on weekend and holidays due to our work commitments. Do we still qualify for a de facto visa. We do not have a joint bank account or bills etc as we live with my parents. We do have lots of photo evidence and can get statements from family members etc?

2. If i cannot get a visa via the de facto route i read that someone can sponsor me over. would this work if my partners mum was to sponsor me as she said she would gladly do this if this was to get me a visa?

Many thanks hope to here from you soon

Hello & Welcome :D

I cannot answer your questions but someone else on here is sure to be able to provide answers.

I would suggest that it may be worth having a free initial consultation with an imigration agent.

All the best.

Hi there,

My boyfriend and I are in the same postion we have been together for 5 years but not lived together officially. As far as i am aware u wldnt be eligable as you have to prove that you have been living together for 1 year i.e bank statements, joint bills etc.

My boyfriend will be a perm resident as has a trade, but i have to go on a working holiday untill we can prove have lived together for 1 year. Such a pain.

Not sure bout a sponser route u better of speaking to a immigration company.

Sorry cant help further

Laura
