Any info on Bricklaying course Perth(Silver Trowel)

Hi, has anyone done or is considering doing this course in Perth? My husband is thinking about it(he has no experience) as it is the only way we can get a visa.I was told he could be earning while doing this course, any idea of wages etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My husband is a brickie by trade here in the UK and he is just about to go for his trade assessment in Lancs, we have been told lots of different wages for brickies ranging from $1400 to $3000 pw. I had a look on the The West (local paper for perth) job page and there is lots of work for brickie labourers some with wages. I did here that the training trades in Aus means that he will only be able to work for 20hrs a week why he is training apparently. I hope this gives you some info.
