Hello,
Is anyone going to watch the FA cup final tonight? I really want to go but don't know what pubs are showing it and have no-one to go with? If anyone has any suggestions or don't mind a "Tag along" let me know as it would be great to hear from you
It's being shown on SBS - I'm a red so hoping that we'll have gained our one point earlier in the afternoon and hopefully will be buying a bottle of bubbly to 'toast' Sir Alex

Hi Ali,
I will certainly be watching the Man U game and hopefully we will get the one point today. Typical we fly out to Perth next week and I will miss the Champions League Final on the 28th as I will be in Perth.
Dean
Hi Dean, my friend has kept his season ticket and is back in the UK for a wedding -he's hoping to go the the Final. If we get the point, by the time the FA Cup kicks off I'll probably not care who wines (especially if I hit the sparkly stuff) lol
Give me a break!

Thinking of tv channels I presume Foxtel covers all of the channels required to watch English Premiership if you buy the sports package.
I have budgeted $100 per month for Foxtel will this get me all the channels?
Is Foxtel the best option?
Thanks,
Dean
Match just about to kick off.

Come on the Reds.....Dean we pay $110.00 a month, thats the premium package I think, gets you all the sports channels.....and all the other channels like MTV, UKTV, Lifestyle etc.....Foxtel is all there is I think....we have Setanta too but that was only while Bolton (my hubbys team) were still in the FA Cup, he has cancelled it now....you can get out of it quite easily...or thats what he tells me!!! He is just watching Super Whites(Bolton) trying to beat Seasiders (Blackpool)....one of my home town teams!!!!....but I am a Red and have been since I was a young girl....in the days of Tommy Docherty....!!!! Not sure about who to support in the FA Cup though, had this conversation with Ali, it goes against the grain to support City really, but Stoke knocked out Bolton....so.....perhaps I will just stay neutral....enjoy the footy!!!!
Flamin 1-0 down, I can't cope with the stress ER. I too ER was going to Utd in the days of Tommy Doc, Gordon Hill, Stevie Coppell and Arthur Albiston, I adored Gary Bailey and my all time hero is Eric Cantona
Jeez - I feel like i'm watching the cup final - did you hear the roar from Leeming???

JOBS DONE ALI.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favourite player was Gordon McQueen...with his big scottish heed!!!!!:swoon::wink::biggrin:
OH is still fuming at Bolton's loss at Blackpool.....at least the Seasiders might stay up!!!!
Nige just looking at Bolton result, as a PNE fan he doesn't like B'pool and wanted Bolton to win.
I'm a happy chappy 19!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Title number 19 in the bag. Shame I will miss the Champions League Final on the 28th. Barcelona lifted their league title yesterday also.
It is very very close at the bottom of the league table now and is very hard to judge. Will Fergie give Holloway an easy game next Saturday? could Man Utd save Blackpool?
Dean
Hubby hopes not Dean - he's a PNE fan and they don't like Blackpool - even if they're playing in a different league.
I think i'm going to be credited with an assist for the penalty - I couldn't have stood any closer to the TV

Disappointing result for Stoke.
