A strange but needed question!

Hi All,

I am thinking of chaiging the forum name of this site from PerthPoms.com to BritsInPerth.com. Reason being there is another few forums with like minded names.:mad:
I think BritsInPerth is still quite catchy. What do you think?

I think we are the new POMS(prisoner of etc.) however we a volunteers, i am not going to be a Brit in Oz, but, like the exising Australians, I want to become an Ozzy and proud of it. The reason for leaving the UK is I am fairly unimpressed by the social environment of the UK and I don't want my kids to think that x-box, hoodies, binge drinking, knives and wingeing are normal.
So I am a POM, but now that could be Patron Of the Mothership;)

Hi Tim

At first I liked the new name better but like crazyh I think most of us whilst still staying " brits " would prefer to be poms. Maybe its got something to do with the fact that I personally want to become an "Ozzy" and not try to shove down everyones throat that I am a brit. I think in this country unfortunately we have had too many people come here and dictate to us, and I for one would'nt want to become something that I loathe about this country.:( Anyway enough of the madness, I'm a WANNA BE, now get me over THERE. HA.:D
