skills test.help needed

hello everyone. im a carpenter and im about to take the skills test on 9th of april 2008. can anyone tell me what exactly does the test involve and how difficult it might be? i cant get any helpful advice from vetassess.
please can somebody help!!!!:o

Yep we're hoping to come to Perth. Just trying to find out more about the skills test to better prepare. Have you been through it or know of anyone who has?

darren i was at the london expo on saturday and mark from vetassess told me that it would be a case of cut a pitch roof (miniture one) or hand a door or something of that nature, then make a saw horse and thats it! please let me know how you get on m8 as i'm going to do the test soon too, also could you give me an idea as to what you sent as your paper examination/assessment?

hello james thanks for that info.
hopefully it wont be too hard to get through the test but you never know eh!

what i sent off for the first stage was any trade certs,proof of experience ie practical photos from work,pay slips and names of job referees. what i can say is ,from now on take as may photos as you can of any kind of task you do in work.
i will let you know how i get on in the test. fingers crossed.
