Car Wanted

We are moving to Perth at the beginning of October and are needing a car! Can anyone give us any advice on where to buy a reliable used car or does anyone know of anything for sale?

Hi, Nic and Chris,
What is your budget for a car? do you want new or second hand? we arrived in Perth in may (from sunny Gateshead Tyne & Wear) and our priority was to buy a car, second hand cars do not lose there value, because of the hot climate they do not rust! don't be surprised to see morris minor's,cortinas and escorts still driving around. We decided to buy new, we bought a Kia Rio for $14000 (£7000) this came with all the toys-central locking,electric windows and the must air con and backed by a 8 year warrenty, i can supply information on garage locations and send your prices etc if you require.
Just Remember Perth is not cheap!!

Hi Zaramatty, where abouts in Gateshead are you from? My wife is from Wrekenton and we both lived in Low Fell for a few years. How long have you been over here? We are now in Kinross.

I'm from Wardley and my wife is from Plawsworth (Durham) we arrived in Perth on 3 may this year, we stayed in the new estate next to clarkson station for the first month but now live in old clarkson on a 6 month lease, i have just taken a job in Kewdale so hoping to move south after our lease is up,
