Hi,
We myself Cheryl, Russell and Ryan and Lucy are hoping to move to Perth sept/oct 07 just having our medicals and police checks done. We visited Perth last April we liked singleton, secret harbour, goldenbay area, as I see you are from Hertfordshire just like ourselfs, a better place in this country to live what part do you live? where are you in application? have you ever visited Australia? I think its got alot more to offer now than this country we live in a small village not far from Bishop's Stortford and are therefore are not far from Stansted airport which is going to increase in size and will ruin around this area.
Good look
Cheryl

So, if you tell us nothing about yourself and nothing about your lifestyle in the UK and nothing about your family (if you have one), and nothing about the lifestyle you might want to live, and nothing about the lifestyle you can afford; on what grounds do you think we can base any advice to you.
Perhaps you should buy a map and a dart.
Why are you coming to Perth? What made up your mind to come here? What are you looking for and hoping for? If you tell us that, you might get a more sensible answer to your question.

Hi Cheryl, Russ, Ryan & Lucy,
we live in Sawbridgeworth, Herts also close to Bishop`s Storeford and Stansted Airport, good reason to move. We went to NSW & QLD last year for six weeks, but have chosen Perth from the good reports from frends.
We are also waiting for the police checks & meds.
We are looking at the Rockingham & Waikiki areas.
Good Luck & Best Regards,
Harvey, Vanasse, Natalie & Jake.

You have to ask questions and more questions, it doesn't help when someone is very sarcastic on this thread, Perth is a very big place and there are people on here who have lots of helpful information on where you might want to live.
I always say that if people don't have anything positive to say then don't say anything at all!!
We are all trying to help each other either come out or give them a warm welcome.
This is a new site where us "poms" can chat about things, so if you have anything you want to say then be positive or go to another forum where you can have a really girly chat!

Hi Harvey,
We loved Perth when we visited its got lots of space and lovely quiet suburbs some of which we noted, we think it will be lovely instead of walks in the country walks to the beach, obviously we are moving out for alot of other reasons. We loved Rockingham it had one of our favourite beaches we went there quite alot it was about 20 mins away from where we were staying last year. We stayed in a small suburb called singleton, we stayed with friends who moved there 2 1/2 years ago they are from Bishop's Stortford. They love it there. Did you say you have your meds done? if so where? we are having ours done 23rd feb at nuffields at Cambridge not cheap!
Best of Luck
Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,
No we have not had our medicals yet, but were look at Whipps Cross Leytonstone E10, Wansted E18, St Albans, or Upminster along with Cambridge. I know there not cheap, it`s about £1000.00 for all of us.
We`er seeing which one comes up with the best price.
Good Luck
Harvey & family.
