Hi going a bit mad on this forum tonight!? Does anyone know of any toddler groups/activities around the Clarkson area? (I can only travel via public transport...). Just moved to Australia in the last few weeks. If there aren't any groups, was thinking about starting one so also useful to know of people's interest.

Hi Bianca
Did a quick search on http://www.playgroupaustralia.com.au/wa/ and it came up with this playgroup being the closest for you.

Session is on Tuesday 10:00 - 12:30
This might mean your little one is so tired after that he'll sleep while you join us at the Coffee Deck! What a plan!

Hi Bianca, my little boy is 3 and we are based in Clarkson, I really struggled with groups for him when I first arrived. There are quite a few around but take some finding, a lot of Mums use childcare as an alternative. A lovely group we started with was Stay and Play at Clarkson Primary School, run every Friday morning, for kids of all ages, it is a drop in group but run by qualified group leaders. They have talks from invited guests and are very friendly, with mums from all backgrounds and parts of the globe.
Sam now goes to Buzy Kidz in Ocean Reef which is for 3-4 year olds and unlike a lot of the groups, I get to leave him for a few hours, he loves it!!
There are playgroups in Merriwa and Quinns Rocks which have also been recommended to me.
Hope this helps
Mary
