      Schools in Fremantle

Arriving in Perth end of December. Looking to live around Fremantle, I have heared its a great place to live, especially for families with older teens wanting a bit of buzz a short distance away!

I have a 17 year old ready for college and a 15 year old with 1 year left at Senior school. Can you recommend a good college and school in Fremantle please. I also have an 8 year daughter. So also need a good junior school. Again, any suggestions and advice on schools to avoid.

      Appreciate any help

Your 15 year old may have 2 years left at school ... years 11 and 12 are a two year course. John Curtain has a good reputation - it may all depend on your address re catchment areas for schools

Thank you. Intended on choosing the right school and then finding a home within that catchment area. Will check out John Curtain school (I take it that is for my 15 year old?). Any info on a college courses/apprentice courses for my 17 year old? Ans also a good school for my 8 year old?

I think John Curtin is a fully selective arts school which means you have to pass an audition to get in. It doesn't take local boundary kids anymore. There are High Schools in South Fremantle, Melville and Hamilton Hill.
