Education Changes in WA

Pre-primary will become the 1st year of compulsory schooling for all of WA in 2013

Year 7 Public Schooling will move to secondary schools in 2015

[Give me a break!]

I thought the year 7 thing was on the cards, because a lot of the Private Schools are starting that next year. I think its a good move, having 12 year olds still in Primary doesnt work for me, too many hormones getting in the way Not sure about the Pre Primary, thing, does that mean that at the moment kids dont have to start until year 1, if so that seems a bit late.
