      Mindaire College catchment & costs?

Hi. We have just moved into temporary accomodation in Clarkson and have two teenagers who need to start school. One is old enough for year 11 and so we were looking at Mindaire College. I've written to them but not had a reply yet. Does anyone know if RIdgewood is in the catchment area? Does it operate on catchment? I'm not sure as I've just seen there may be charges involved... Does anyone know what the charges are?

      Thanks

hello, I asked on a different thread to advise on schools in perth. I know that someone responded with information on mindaire and sid there is a waiting list, catchment area is strict and fees are higher than normal state schools. my thread is "finding schools' if you want to look at it you will find the comment and maybe you can get more info from the person who wrote it. we are going over in a few months and i will have someone also going into year 11 but thinking of churchlands, shenton or rossmoyne. but really dont have a clue as i dont even know perth. i do know though that there are a lot of expenses and school books are very high!!!!!

      My Mood
      Tired
We are out on a reccie and I too had not had a reply from Mindarie Senior College so we just turned up. My son will be 17 in August so had been told he would do the remainder of year 11. MSC would not take him as they said he was too old. They also said the school is full and a 6mth rental agreement with the strict catchment may also not be enough. Some schools are now asking for a years rental agreement.
