      Vegetables -where to buy them

I am moving to Perth and probably living near Subiaco or somewhere on the Fremantle line.

I looked online at Coles and was horrified to see the price of fruit and veg.

They are almost double if not triple the price in the UK

Are there any farmers markets or veg markets where fruit and veg is cheaper. We love our fruit and being vegetarian i obviously need vegetables but at these prices!

Well in Subi you've got http://www.subiacomarkets.com/
Supermarket veg are expensive and the quality isn't all that great either.
You're better off with the markets and independent greengrocers.
Also, getting out of the habit of mentally converting $ to £ whilst shopping will ease the pain! Cost of living differences take some getting used to and you definitely need to earn more than the straight $:£ rate in Oz.
It's hard enough remembering my opinions, without remembering my reasons for them...
