Which Visa? IT Jobs in Perth

Me and Partner are seriously thinking of Migrating to Perth and I have been doing a lot of research in Visas, Skilled Migration and IT Jobs in Perth. My particular expertise is on the Skilled Migration List for WA but I dont have the money to employ a specialised Visa Company to help us decide which route to go. Im thinking of just going the 176 route. If anyone has had any experience in migrating as a skilled IT Specialist I would be very grateful for any tips or help or if anyone really knows what the job opportunities are like out there. I dont have a degree in IT, but do have 20 years experience, and some Microsoft Certifications. Need to do a TRA Migration Skilled Assesment yet so I guess im a long way off yet, but Im wondering how long these things take from start to finish, though I guess it varies considerably. If you can offer any advice or tips we would be ever so grateful, dont want to get my hopes up yet....

I came out on PR and had 15 yers experience in I.T as my specific role in Network Security was on the MODL. I am now a State Manager for WA for a software development company and we are a 457 visa sponsor so if your skills are in this area please let me know...

Hi Barry,

Many Thanks for your email. I now wish I was a software developer! My Skills are what you would describe as a 2nd/3rd Line support engineer, a bit of everything really. Unfortunately these skills are not so in demand as their not specialised enough but I havent given up hope yet. -4c here in the UK!
