DH has posted his AQF application form and accompanying stuff to our agents after months of filling forms, requesting references and collecting documents. It's looking slightly more like happening now. During this process my certainty that we'll get to Oz is more like this - , than like this , because if we don't get there, I will still be absolutely gutted but I won't feel quite as So, how is it going for you guys?

Hi Jen. I am checking the post box asap each day now! The agents returned all the documents this morning so I hope they get working for us. We're looking at further south as we've DH's relatives around Bunbury. Margaret River should be a good place for chef jobs but it is probably a bit too far down for us. Any idea what you will be doing when you get there? Race you to Australia!
DH is now looking for a job in Oz! Our agents told him to go ahead to try for a 457, they'll help out with the paperwork necessary. We are redecorating the house and house doctoring to get the place on the market.
Update - DH accepted a job offer this morning! Employer is already registered for Nomination. Now waiting for 457 visa application to go through. He needs to get there ASAP.
