wild rose
There's a list on the immi website of approved Drs you can use. Bridgewater in Manchester were the cheapest that I found but we went to Handsworth Wood in Birmingham because they did medicals on a Saturday. Google the Australian Visa Medicals and you'll be able to find the prices listed on their various websites. It was just over £800 for our family of 4 (2 adults, a 6 year old and a 3 year old), this included an extra £42 (or there abouts) as I had to have an extra Hep B blood test due to my tattoo. Hope that helps x

maxan
if the symptoms manifest in Australia, you should be covered for at least part of the cost for pathology tests (for many tests, no co-payment is required) performed outside a public hospital and 100% of any inpatient or outpatient treatment in a public hospital.
