kitchn fitter and carpenter (work needed)

this is just a bit of a feeler for our move at the end of july, i am a kitchen fitter and carpenter, 22 years experience, all power tools and hand tools, currently run my own kitchen supply and fitting company here in uk.

im wrapping all this up and moving to perth, question is, are there any companies out there needing my skills or will i have to set up on my own.

is there a big need for kitchen fitters who can also do site carpentry as well. or would i be better off work wise and financially setting up my own business again.

if there are any companies out there i would like to hear from you about the possibilities of working for someone .

or any advice from anyone thanks

p.s ive seen the price of vans out there(expensive) not a great deal of choice either, wot do you suggest ??

I do a very similar job. I'm a kitchen fitter and plumber that does bathrooms and heating also.
I have had a look around on the websites but I think it's much the same as over here where you are a contractor for the kitchen firm.
As for the van, I'm taking mine with me as buying something similar would cost me double what it's worth

Hi boys im over in Shoalwater now got here in April.Bell me and will help you out.Got work easy im fitting kitchens right now for 35 bucks n hr and its for a shopfitting company.Work is best paid on the sites with a white card n any other (tickets ) u can get the more chance of work.The work is never hard always over manned and over paid.Dont worry us Brits show up the locals.

hope you are ok, just been looking at a few posts and notice cabinet makers-joiners,i also am in that line of work.

and would allso like to know Have you got any work when you land and are you heading north or south of perth.

Me and my family are heading up to Quinns rocks,were you bound for ,give me a shout if in say area.
