Hi, my son was 7 was we moved to WA and he loves school here, it's much more relaxed, more to do at recess and you get to play outside a lot. Being the 'the kid' is a bit of a novelty, the teachers will get someone to show you around and you'll make friends pretty quickly i'm sure. My daughter was 11 when we moved and the principle at the school she was going to got her a pen pal in the class she would be going in - this really helped her settle.
