Hi Everyone We make the move in a couple of weeks. I've got some decent bottles of whiskey/champagne etc. Can anyone advise what duty I'd be expected to pay? Is it worth bringing or should I drink it all before I head downunder?

Hi All. We've just had our Visas granted and we arrive in Perth early October. Hoping to settle in the Hilarys/Mullaloo/Whitfords areas. There's me (41) wife (41), Daughter (18), Son (16), Daughter (10) and Son (10 months) My biggest challenge is my 16 year old lad who doesn't want to leave his mates behind. He's very sociable and loves his football and cricket. I was wondering if anyone on here has a son or daughter or knows of lads or girls of a similar age who live in the area we are heading to and might want to hook up with him on facebook before we arrive? Hopefully they can tell him all the great things about life downunder. That way he'll already know a few people his own age before he arrives.
