Hey folks I said i would give update. I did ielts test and to my surprise got a 8 so i can now go independently on a 189 visa. I have lodged the EOI in the 4th of November and now waiting for invite the next round of invites are due on the 14th so fingers crossed!

Hey all just said I would give update got my tra results after after nearly 4 months and they were successful. I have to wait on my employer to meet the criteria then we can hopefully Lodge application once medicals are done. Hopefully everything will go well.

Well that's good news. Well do you know can you go ahead with visa? Is awful waiting isn't it?

Hey, just got my confirmation email today . Just saying it has been delayed. Any news on your front? Does your OH have papers or did he have to get avq 3 ?

Ya he be fine , my migration lodged the tra so she probably will get the email? Will you give me up date when you can. Thanks

Hey ya I got acknowledge ment letter but heard nothing since you think I should look into it. Very busy it takes a while to adapt to the aussie plastering method there is some awful Cowboys but if your patient you'll eventually get a company who will show you the ropes and actuality care about the standard of work. I'm working with a guy he very good and he top notch plasterer as aussies go. I'm hoping to get nominated off him.

Hey folks I'm in same boat I'm a plasterer for last 8 years back home in Ireland. I have been a plasterer in Oz for last 1 3/4 years. I got my AQF 3 and submitted references, payslips from each year and 5 payslips from each year in oz, certs , resume and portfolio to tra on 16th June and still no word. Very worried to be honest I think the fact I was off couple of weeks in 2011/12 because of the recession could go against me. I dunno maybe I'm paranoid. my visa is over in January so I need to submit it in time. Any help or advice? my head is wrecked?????=(
