Thanks Walkabout. Yes, not really thinking about secondary at this stage as so much (school wise & personally) can change. I'm keen for her to enjoy education, whether that be at school or home, so trying to find somewhere she is comfortable in a suburb we like. We are planning on visiting a few schools in Kingsley and surrounds when they are back, plus bold park community school (although I fear we will love it but not be able to afford it!). Thanks for the personal experience input, always good to hear.

Hi all. We arrived in Perth just over a month ago and I'm just weighing up the pros/cons of different suburbs to hopefully settle in when our lease is up in April. Finding a primary school to suit our family is a major factor in the decision (daughter is only 3, but would like to make the right choice now so we don't have to move *again*!), along with finding somewhere with a bit more of a community feel. I'm currently quite drawn to Kingsley. Do any of you have opinions/experience on the schools there? I'm planning a visit, but would appreciate first hand experience too. Thanks :-)

Hi everyone :-) We are coming over 16th October (eek!), flights booked, flat and half our belongings sold, all becoming a bit real now! We have family in Padbury and are looking to short term rent somewhere (for 1-2 months, maybe longer) not too far away until we settle on a suburb. Our thoughts so far for where we will eventually long term rent are Greenwood, Kingsley and Tapping, but I guess we can't really decide until we look around and check out the schools that our daughter will eventually probably attend (she's 3 now). Anyhoo, somewhere not too far from or in those suburbs would be good. Any suggestions on where to look on line? So far have tried stayz, airbnb and gumtree, with limited success. Is there such a site which specislises in expat rentals? Thanks. Any comments welcome :-)

Hi everyone. We are planning on moving over towards the end of the year. We have a 3yr old and would love for her to attend an RE inspired school when the time comes. Can anyone recommend any schools please (apart from Landsdale; read all about that one ? )? Ideally want to be NOR as close family are in Padbury. Thanks!
