Sent all my forms off in October and still nothing! racheld Posted February 1, 2015 Report Share Posted February 1, 2015 hi it took my 6 month to get my AHPRA through and my friends took 9 so they don't rush. if the job really wants you they will wait, ask your new employer to contact them, it may help. hope all works out. I too was hoping to have started my new career as a nurse all my student friends have been in work since qualifying Sept 2014. Are you awaiting AHPRA so the hospital can apply for your 457 like me? I have no idea how long the visa will take but it says on the website 2 months!! Which might mean nothing as Ahpra say 4-6 weeks!! Haha although I think the visa's are more reliable than AHPRA!
