      bit of a contradiction!!

Just as i was about to get my vetassess docs certified i thought i'd do a bit of an idiot check to
make sure i haven't missed anything out.
I've now read 2 different things on the vetassess site about employment evidence.
I've got all i need but they are saying they 'prefer to have the original documents work related to check the integrity
of the evidence recieved'.... then on the application form it says certified copies are required!
I'm a bit worried about sending my original employment paperwork as generally it's not returned...but in some cases
      it is i hear.
Can anyone possibly clear this one up for me please?
      Thanks,
      Darren

I can only offer advice on what I did when having my skills assessed by VETASSESS. I had everything photocopied (in colour if needed) and then had it all certified by a solicitor. Shop around when looking for a solicitor to certify your documents as the price can vary a great deal.

I didnt send any originals, as I was informed that they couldn't / wouldn't return anything.

      Good luck with the application.

I have just lodged all my documents for VETASSES - I got mine all colour scanned and certified by the local solicitor, plus an original letter from my work manager confirming my employment record - they would not accept certified copy of p60's and contract as evidence. which has held up things - as i did not want my work to know I intended to leave!!
The certified copies cost me about £30 with a local solicitor.

We found the local court was cheaper than a solictor, they did a bundle at a price rather than per document. I had to leave it all with them and pick it up at the end of the day but it was about £25 for about 30 copies something like that .
Catherine, Matt and Travis (10) just moved into our newly built house in Lakelands North Mandurah, and loving it.

Thankyou for info everyone,i took my copies to the brief last night and his face just went pale with the thought of signing all my paperwork...he's doing it for £10 for 6 copies which i though was reasonable. My local magistrate wanted £25 per copy though so made some more calls. I've got to get it all done by July so no room for Mr cock up on this one Just
