      Cool State sponsorship email acknowledgement

      Hi!Just applied for state sponsorship and I was wondering if anyone who has recently applied received any email acknowledgement that their application was received successfully? Also is there a tracker that I can check to see if my application has been successful?Getting worried because usually these days you receive an automatic email acknowledgement for any online forms submitted.

      We sent ours last night and got an email straigt back saying that had received it. And a case officer would contact us if they require any info. I take it you did it on line and they took money etc?

      Yeh I got a confirmation email to say they had received it, then an approval letter a few hours later, it certainly doesn't take them long!
      Not sure if you can track it tho.

      It's great they're rattling through them now - was 6 months when we did ours. Good luck to you all - hope they come through quick!

      Oh no worried now. Yeah we submitted online on 30th Jan.tried to resume the application last night in case it hadn't lodged and it said it had been lodged.wonder if there has been an issue with my credit card.

      Ozberry....could you keep me updated on the timeline for processinf you don't mind? And also, was the submission difficult to complete, time intensive etc? Thanks

      Hi!

      Sorry for the delay in replying. We got our State Sponsorship this morning (3rd Feb). We actually lodged it on 29th Jan so that was 4 days.
      Yeah the form did take a while but I just did it in sections at a time. On first glance it looked impossible but using this forum and websites out there it wasn't that bad. I think they just want to know you are not choosing them on a whim and that you have researched it and you are realistic about the costs of living and costs of migrating.

      ok that was waaaaay faster than I thought they processed it! So, am I right in saying that once you are granted the state sponsored, you then go on to apply for a 176 is it?

      Yes thats right you have 3 months to apply for the 176.
