      Hi there

in a nut shel no, it just depends on your licences and what you convert them to when you are here as there are more licences here than in the UK for commercial drivers.

Hi, my name is Chris Vick. I am 27 years old and I am currently looking into moving from England to Australia to join friends who live in Perth. I am currently in England working as a Class 1 HGV driver but I also hold a licence to drive and operate a forklift truck. I am eligible to work in Australia on a working visa but I am married with 2 children so wold unfortunately have to leave my wife and children behind. As I'm sure you would appreciate this is not an option for me, my family mean the world to me and one of the main reasons for us to make the big move to Australia would be to better their life and give them all they deserve. My purpose for this msg is I am enquiring to see if anyone can put me in touch with companies who provide sponsorship to English workers looking to move over to Australia and if you can would you be able to provide me with a bit more information regarding their sponsorship process. I am a hard working, reliable, confident man and willing to undertake any requirements that they ask of me.

I truly appreciate the time you have taken to read this*

Do you mean you already have a visa?
If you do, why could your family not accompany you?

Sorry, I'm not any kind of expert, it just seems odd that if you can come here and work, surely your family could join you?

      HI vic

There are lots of companies that would like to employ skilled drivers from the uk. Unfortunately even companies directly cannot offer sponsorship for drivers as they are not on the skills shortage list therefore have no way of offering any employment.

If you have any other qualifications that would get you in to the country you would need to look on the skills shortage list for western Australia which you will find on the immigration website.

The other option is to ask a migration agent to look at your skills
