Day out in Rockingham

So tomorrow we're heading down to Rockingham for the day. Never been and thought we'd go check out Penguin island and have a swim under the 36 deg heat that's forecast.
Anyone recommend some must do's? Somewhere nice for lunch?

Ha, the silence says it all.
It's like Clacton. There's 4 hours of my life I'll never get back.
I'm glad I've seen it but if I get the chance to go back I'll maybe just clear out the shed instead!

Sunsets restaurants on the foreshore , Yep its a place where you go and chill not actually do :) unless you do the Boat trips ..Dolphin tours and Penguin as you said .Great beach for younger children though and playground , cafe strip ... not many shops there .
