      Outdoor Cinemas in Perth

      Hi All,

Was looking at some of the outdoor cinemas in Perth. Looks like a good idea and something different to do on a school night as opposed to going to the pub (again).

Anyone have any experiences of them? Keen to know what the atmosphere is like. I like the idea of lying on a rug watching a movie outside (how romantic!).

Thanks in advance for your info,

      Steve

Not been this year yet. But when I've been before, they're a great night out.

I'm pretty sure it was the one in King's Park.

      Thanks mate.

Looks like I'll be giving it a go. Something I wouldn't have done at home anyway.

Just to add, I went to the Gold Lounge at the Reading Cinema in Belmont the other week and it was fantastic. Big reclining leather seats and a button on the table that calls the waiter to bring you drinks. Actually, why aren't I going back there?

The Burswood one is really good, but I would advise to book the beanbags (very Comfy ) or you can take a blanket or low chairs etc

I would also say take some mozzie spray as its by the water after dark it can be bad for getting bitten

You can buy wine/beer, cheese & crackers or even pre order Dominos Pizza, or even take yoour own snacks in, cinema tickets are about $8 (money goes to charity) and I think the bean bags are around $5?

All in all a good night out under the stars

      Cheers leedslass,

I might try that one another time but this week will either be the one in Kings Park http://www.moonlight.com.au/home.php?location=Perth or the new one in Leederville http://www.luna.com.au/index.php?cin=cinemas&cinema=6 which has a jazz, movie and oyster evening on Thursday which was the night I was planning to go.

That being said, looking at the weather outside, I don't think any outdoor activity is on the cards this week!

come to my place , we have a large garden , i can rig up a tv outside and you pick your film , flowing wine and home made curry at your service , no bells or buzzers just press pause and yell out , all this at a fraction of the price you would normally pay,but hurry , as this offer wont last for ever .....
