I'm looking for information about working in the mines in the Pilbara. In Karratha, Tom price and surrounding areas.

I would lime to know as much as possible before I go. Does anyone know of a forum specifically for that area? I would especially like to know what the connectivity is like up there? I assume it's bad but just how bad? I will be working there on a fly in fly out job 19 on 9 off so web cams would make that a lot more bearable.
