Temporary accommodation for 1 person needed in Belmont or surrounding areas

Hi,

I am due to move to Australia around mid July, initially on my own whilst completing 3 months probation period with my company who are situated in Belmont. As I am making the move on a "shoestring", I am desperately looking for accommodation for 3 months or even just the initial 2 weeks. Any advice in this regard would be appreciated.
I would also be happy to house sit as I believe this is a cost effective way of moving across - at least with the initial costs.

Thank you for your reply. As I won't have transport for a while, Kalamunda may be a bit far. The company I will be working for have requested that I find digs as close to the workshop as possible for the first 3 months probation period. If there is a good bus route through to Belmont this could be of interest. I've had a look at the cottage but couldn't see any prices, please could you advise.
I would be really grateful if you would keep me posted on anything withing a 5-10 km radius of Belmont, that way I could take a bus to work.

Have you tried Jen at Perth Furnished Rentals? She may have something in that area.
What is your moving date? I'll be sure to let you know if we do get anything.
