      You going to be looking at about $40US per KG. do what we did, we took 2 x 15KG carry on bags (small roll along suitcases) they didnt even bat an eyelid

      Dear Druid;

      Would you please shed more light on the said issue....were the carry on bags earmarked as cabbin baggage or checked baggage?Furthermore whether 30KG was allowed per person?What about the cabbin baggage?

      Thanks.

      The cabin baggage does not count toward your 20 / or 30KG checked baggage limit, you are normally only allowed one cabin bag weighing no more than 7KG, but unless it looks really heavy they will not weigh it, we hand carried two small cases weighing 15KG each packed full of clothes, a laptop bag each and my wife had her handbag

      Thanks.

      We were only allowed 20KG per person checked baggage (3 off us = 60KG) check with your airline as to your checked baggage limit, My wife and I carried on a small suitcase each at 15KG each and we each had a laptop bag, my wife had her handbag and my son had his backpack, so in total thats 60KG checked baggage, 30KG carry on baggage, we carried a total of 6 bags on to the aircraft, I am not sure about infants, you will have to check with your airline
