Hiya I think it was a shared container but I wouldn't be too concerned as all our stuff was packed into a really large wooden crate then put into the Container so nothing gets mixed with other peoples shipment.

Hi we shipped 26 boxes 1x3seater 1x2seater sofas tools etc etc 1200 pounds plus 200 dollars to pay here before delivery. I think that,s for quarantine all boxes tape were supplied and the sofas and all that was not boxed was wrapper by Appleyards. We boxed all our own belongings. The cartage is worked out in cubic meters so make sure if you ship anything with drawers fill all the drawers with clothes. The shipping time was around 3 months but we told them we were not in a rush so I recon it would have been in a shared container. The price includes emptying all boxes on delivery at the Oz end

We used Appleyard,s South Yorkshire a subsidary of Britania Movers International they have been really fantastic from pick up to drop off here in Perth

If you haven't tried out the new indian resturant 'the essence of india' at Kinross (behind the IA) then I urge you to do so! Always of the belief that a decent curry could not be found in Australia I now claim to be wrong! The place has just opened and they are currently giving 10% off for 4 or more people. It's clean, it's cheap, it's BYO but most of all the food is fabulous! On my second visit I couldn't decide what to have, the chef made me my own curry which was out of this world... If in doubt try that - it's now named 'The Helen Special'!!
