Thank you all. It is what I feared! Another dilemma in this visa process for me then. your info is much appreciated.

Read so many different things on here. my De facto partner has 2 children but they are over 18 and not dependents I have one daughter in OZ. and am applying for parent visa 143 Now presuming that means 3 children (but his two,sons are adults??) Therefore we would fail the test any help please as so confused, as this means he wouldn't be able to come with me! Thank you

Will be relocating in 18-24mths and have started to watch property market. am unsure re retirement villages so many different types of lease/rules/fees and not sure they are all a willable asset Thinking an over 55's house would be better as probably wouldn't use all facilities in a village which is what you are paying for,some weekly fees are expensive. anybody any pros/cons for any of above please. Very grateful for any advice! thank you
