Burger
Hi, so just been offered a first job in Perth and due to start mid January. But faced with a decision over which superannuation scheme I should choose. Does any one here have experience of WASuper vs AustralianSuper? Benefits or downsides to each? thanks. Druid
Google them and find out if they are "Industry" Super funds, I know WA Super is an industry super fund, I am in the process of switching from AMP to WA Super, AMP is a retail super fund, but for me have been underperforming big time for the last two years, my wife is with WA Local Govt Super, a divison of WA Super, which has been fantastic for her, retail super funds have too many fees involved which erode away your gains, they are all pretty similar, I just cant believe my wifes super has way overtaken mine, I have worked for a year longer than her and earn a lot more than her, but WA Super has left my employers AMP Super in the dust, tried talking to AMP to find out where I am going wrong, guess what, they want money to talk to you, absolute bull dust.
