Just a note to say Waikiki is most popular with a lot of people, who are on good jobs and income. The Australian Navy rents and owns many homes for their officers, in that area. You should look for the HarringtonWaters estate, as there a few companies who build houses there just for resale and the discerning buyer:smiloe:. It`s a private estate for just that reason. I have been impressed with some of the houses I have seen there, very upmarket . Its close to the run-off road, Safety Bay Road that leads out to the train station, there is a large shopping centre that has Woolies, a Post office, chemist, newsagent and there is room to extend that as well, and a lot of specialist shops, like hair, Hobby shops with craft stuff, some entertainment during school holidays, etc. The Bus service is excellent so I have been told by my mother-in-law. The is a private school Maranatha across the road, and within 5 klms another Lutheran Private school, The Warnbro Senior High school, churchs, The aqua jetty YMCA run indoor and outdoor water playground/pool. Video shops and a Petrol servo, drs within 3 klms. The Last Drop Tavern with its Darling range boutique brewery, with a popular and dining area, with reasonable prices.

we are living in Baldivis central quite a large estate with another amount of land on both sides of the estate recently levelled and cleared for sale(plots marked and bricked etc) we are less than a minute onto the kwinana freeway. just up the road just slightly closer to Rocky is The Chase estate quite small has a nice quiet feel, going in the opposite direction is Rivergums and Tuart Ridge.Rivergums older than Tuart ridge the bus runs through there which is handy, Tuart Ridge very new not been in there but there are always people playing tennis when you drive past , further up that road is Highbury Park built on a bit of a hill think that'll be nice when finished verynew more double storey homes i think when finished it'll prob join up with Settlers certainly the main estate well established and again has nice feel kids out playing ,community events etc

think thats about it

This newer suburb has won quite a few awards for the Stockland group with new ideas , like smaller homes on 600 metre blocks, all connected with homes, one in front of the other, garages connected to the homes, at the rear and large parking areas at the front of the homes in the street so to speak for visitors etc. hardly any wasted space, and not much lawn area to mow. The homes themselves are also very impressive. The prices are more in the upward scale of $500,000. Of course there are larger blocks down in the Sherwood Forest estate with enough room to have 2 or three prime movers parked in the back yard.:) There is a College out there not sure of its name, primary school and early childhood centres,(kindy) lots of parks, as it was not long ago it was a paddock (field) A large shopping centre with modern design, heaps of parking, a doctors surgery and a new tavern have recently been added. (thirsty camel bottle shop) I love the name. haha.

Its on the Safety Bay road that leads from the Kwinana Freeway which becomes the Forrest H`way just past the estate , which eventually goes past Mandurah to Bunbury.

The homes being built out there have to reflect the price of the block they

are built on by at least double, to realize their invest ment. So if the block cost $350,000 the house has to be at least $500 to $700,000. if you get my meaning..Not that I know a lot about that sort of thing.

There are lots of well to do people living out there, poms as well as Europeans

Lots of Australian Building contractors live out there, as well, gone from their homes around 6am , so you get used to the quietness during the day til around 3pm, when the kids come home (observations of a woman holidaying there in February this year)
