Hannah Posted February 1, 2015 Report Share Posted February 1, 2015 Hi Guys, myself and my fiancé have been in perth NOR for 12 months now and are loving the lifestyle, although not the same without friends. I am 25 and my fiancé is 28 we have a daughter Amelia who is 3 in May. We are PR and have just bought our first house in Oz. Marc is a heavy diesel fitter and i work part time in pharmacy. We love BBQ's, beach trips, days out, general socialising and having a laugh a pub and a meal always a bonus. Marc has a passion for off roading. Would love to meet like minded people. We are in Rockingham and like you, we have just bought our 1st house. Exciting... but very hard times :-) We have spent all weekend getting wall paper of the walls, bloody nightmare. I am very keen to make some mates her in Perth, I was so please when I got told about this website. I have just joined. I am 27, and I am married. No kids yet, but its something we will be doing next. I am from Somerset but have been in Oz 5 years. I like you love BBQ'S, the lovely beaches that we have here and I love socialising. Congrats on the house purchase such a big thing to do when all is unknown. We have had our house about 7 months now so getting there slowly with decorating etc. Wall paper is a chuffing night mare lol Its been hard meeting people although so many people are in the same boat, so we are defiantly keen to meet. We were down in rockingham last weekend on penguin island as we have had visitors from the UK was lovely there. We went back to England for 6 months before arriving here. We spent a chunk of our house deposit, so we have been saving. Now the fun begins though with the decor... The painter are in tomorrow and flooring next week. Can't wait to put our touch on it!! Where in the uk are u guys from? is Perth your first destination in oz!? SOR at the moment. I'm 30, my husband Ronnie is 33 and we have a 7 year old son and 3 year old daughter.
