I`m not sure if I`m sending the right message, but I was talking today with some friends from Mandurah, who are into Darts. You know what they are!
Both men and women have an association , with most Pubs in this area at least, and I would suppose the pubs/hotels/taverns in the Northern suburbs
with clubs of their own.
The reason I am mentioning it is, they are looking for new members, old and young, to keep the interest up. The group I am friendly with also, go out into the bush towns, on long weekends for inter town meets, so if you are looking for something different, usually one night a week, for the game, and another for the practice, if you can hit a board, bulls eye on not, and you don`t have to be a drinker, to join.. A lot of middle aged women/men are still into it, and their kids join too. A lot of country towns have more than one Pub. So its against their own kind. One way to really get to know new people.
Also we do have a few RSL clubs that are licensed. They also have dart clubs. The RSL in Port Kennedy, have associate members, as well as returned or current armed forces members. They also do quite economic meals, and entertainment. But they don`t Have 1 armed bandits, as its illegal in this state, except for the Burswood Casino.
With ANZAC Day coming up next month, I just thought I would mention it.
